Tile and Grout

EarthCo Cleaning specializes in hard surface cleaning and restoration. We are trained through the IICRC in cleaning, maintaining and restoring the various types of stone, masonry and tile on the market today.

Tile and Grout Cleaning and Restoration

Cleaning techniques for man made tile such as ceramic or porcelain are based on the floorings maintenance requirements. To fully clean and restore tile and grout, we use our EarthCo 6 step high pressure extraction process. Environmentally preferred cleaning chemicals are used in conjunction with water pressures of up to 1200 psi to loosen and remove deeply embedded dirt and soil. Our cleaning extractors then remove the material from the surface, leaving the tile and grout fully restored. Once the tile and grout has been cleaned, we use a premium impregnator sealer that will create a protective barrier against spills and stains. This will not only ensure that your tile and grout will stay cleaner for longer but will also yield better results upon your next cleaning service.

Natural Stone and Tile Restoration

Natural stone cleaning and restoration begins with our technicians reviewing and identifying the type of stone through our tested methods. Once the natural stone has been identified, the cleaning and restoration process can begin. Salvage and restorative maintenance for stone floors such as marble, travertine or limestone use diamond abrasives in conjunction with a 175-rpm rotary machine. This removes any scratches and damage to the stone’s surface. The stone is then polished and buffed to the client’s desired shine. This process can fully restore the stone flooring to a new condition.

VCT Tile Stripping and Waxing

Over time VCT tile flooring becomes scratched and dirty. The floor is stripped of its remaining wax finish until only the bare floor remains. Several coats of new floor finish is applied in order to protect the floor from damage and optimizing its appearance. Routine buffing of the flooring will help maintain the floors finish and increase the appearance of the facilities floors without the need to repeat the stripping and waxing process.
